The book "Marriages & Deaths from the Newspapers of Lancaster County Pennsylvania 1831-1840" by F. Edward Wright contains abstracts of the Lancaster Examiner & Herald, but Mr. Wright did not have access to all the editions of that newspaper that are currently digitized. For the 1834-1840 time period, I will only be transcribing those issues of the Lancaster Examiner & Herald which are NOT included in this book. Following is a list of the editions to be transcribed for the 1834-1840 time period: April 10 & 17, 1834; May 1, 1834 thru March 31, 1836; [No digital images are available for April 1836- April 1838]; May 24, 1838; June 21, 1838; July 5 & 12, 1838; Aug. 23, 1838; Sept. 20, 1838; Dec. 13, 1838; April 1839-March 1840; July 8, 1840; and Aug. 12 & 19, 1840.
