JACOBS in Des Moines County, Iowa, in November 1838? I am very curious to find out about his family. And I am trying to track SCOTTs and COLLINSes. So either of those two would be a tremendous help. The earliest given names I have are David SCOTT (b. 1791) and John COLLINS (in Mifflin Co., PA, by 1755, but may have been in Lancaster in the late 1750s and early 1760s) and his son Brice. Thank you so much for your offer. Lorraine
