David HUFMAN To: PALANCASTER maillist <[email protected]> Message-ID: <[email protected]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Janie, is there anything for a Rev. David HUFMAN, a Meth/Epis preacher? I have reason to believe he may have come from Lancaster/Berks area around Churchtown. He was pastor in Berks Co at St Paul's Meth/Epic church in Geigertown area. Married a daughter of a Col. WILLIAMS. In a BIO in Berks Co, it state that his parents were from Wales, that they had 3 children, and that he was born in PA. At the ME church cemetery, his dates were 1/7/1769-5/26/1855, and his wife Elizabeth 2/19/1774-8/9/1843. I wondered if any marriages, etc. performed by him prior to his death, or even mention of his death in any of the Lancaster papers near Berks Co? His children married into the CRAMP, IRESON, WHITE, and WALTERS families. Thank you so much if you spot anything. Census for some of the male children were recorded as HUFFMAN and HOFFMAN, but their name is really spelled HUFMAN. I know there was a Welsh area in Berks/Chester/ and Lancaster counties.
