Yvonne, I don't think I will be able to help you very much, for years I was looking for Maria Bari without any luck. I tried every combination of Bari, Bary Barry Baril with no luck. I had 3 dates birth Dec 1, 1803 Cocalico PA. Married 24 Mar 1827 Brinkerville, PA. d 19 Oct 1841. I knew there were Barr/Bear/Bares in Cocalico. I finally clicked on enough to find a Maria born 1803, that I think is probably who I want. Funny how the dates on Jacob Barr who d 15 Mar 1803 show son John d bef 1803, Maria is listed as b bef 1803? Someone must have consulted Jacobs will to find those dates? Does that sound right to you? I have Lame Jacob Barr b 1778 Strasburg, Lancaster, PA. It seems too big a gap between Lame Jacob and Maria? My connection is Samuel Schmuck b Apr 19 1793 m 1827 Maria Barr? b Dec 1 1803. Where do you live? These Barrs appear to be Mennonites from Zurich, Switzerland. I have never connected with Mennonites although my ancestors seem to be living right next door to them. My family appears to connected with Groves/Graf from Zurich, Switzerland. I am doing DNA testing and have strong connections with them (1 is 66 out of 67 markers 2 is 65 out of 67).
