    1. [PALANCAS] Genealogical Record of Rev. Hans Herr and his Lineal Descendants

    3. Hi List, I recently acquired a copy of the Herr book (Genealogical Record of Rev. Hans Herr and his Lineal Descendants) along with its Index volume. The book is basically the list of names of the various families and descendants and provides (but not all data for all names) ONLY one known residence, birth and death dates (no places), and marriage date and spouse name. PLEASE read my conditions noted below before sending requests, but I will do lookups. I am a lousy typist, especially with this type of info with lots of punctuation and dates. Therefore, If you request a lookup, I will scan the relevant page/pages and send privately to your personal email as jpg attachment(s). Therefore, you MUST be able to receive attachments and the email in your request must be current. Some of these interrelated Lancaster families have many Herrs, so they may have several pages worth of listings. Because some of these listings are minimal and the index is very minimalist, you will have to send me as much information as possible. PLEASE, DO NOT send a request to look up a John Herr! Send me parents name(s), birth or death date, at least approximation, and spouse name (given or surname) if known. If you have a middle initial, include it. And if you live in Lancaster County, the Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society has the book, so please go there and do your own research. I am somewhat embarrassed to be so demanding, but I have limited time. If I get overwhelmed by difficult requests, everyone else will suffer when I throw in the towel! Don't know if I'm ready for this - but here goes - best of luck. Kay Arnold

    3. You did not state what religion or time period. Can you tell this from the book?
