Jim, Thank you. I tis interesting that your reserach (in this case) is very close to the ssurname,s I have been working on, but do not "dove-tail". The Lorah family originally settled in the Oley Valley area of Berks Co. PA, for example. A few of what I have in my (hand written) file,s are : Aaalthouse, Brossman, Coldren, Matz, Kieffer, Klopp, Klapp, Grill, Krill, Lousch, Sollenberger, Zerbe, Hoster, Harding-Hortung, Frey-Fry, are some of them.
