Richard Emlin Reed Wesley Chapel, FL --- Another thought on MINK... I have MINK ancestors who descend from an early Swede: Pal Palsson MINK. MINK was an alias he adopted and not an actual surname. Many of the early Swedes along the Delaware adopted aliases because they had no real surnames--they used Patronymic names. Of course, not all MINKs descend from Pal Palsson MINK and there are German and Jewish and other MINKs who arrived in PA at various times from various places...but there are quite a few early MINKs who do descend from Pal Palsson MINK of New Sweden.
