I wanted to let all Bear/Barr/Bair etc researchers know that the Bear Surname DNA-Project website has been updated. We now have results from 34 descendants of this surname representing 14 different Bear/Barr etc family lines. Both Swiss-German and Scotts-Irish lines are represented. Two of the participants are still living in Switzerland. All Barr descendants (of any spelling variation) are welcome to participate.
