Ernest, I have a FRY family I am researching that lived on Owl Hill Road that maybe you can help me with. The family is Reuben Meck FRY (b. 21 June 1861 in Lancaster County and d. 16 November 1940 in Penn Township, Lancaster County) he married Emma Creiner LANDIS about 1887. Their daughter Ellen was my wife's great grandmother. I need help with Reuben's parents. The information that I have is that Reuben's parents were Michael FRY and Sarah MECK and based on census information it appears that they had the following children: Sarah, Samuel Meck, Reuben Meck, Elizabeth, William and Priscilla. Rev. Strine's marriage records indicate that he married a Michael FREY and Sarah MECK, both of Penn Township, on 4 August 1857. A Michael and Sarah Fry are buried at Penryn Union Cemetery, Lancaster County and may be the same people but I am not sure. Any assistance you could give me would be appreciated. Thanks.
