I am looking for information regarding my gggrandfather Isaac Detrick, ( Deetrick,Dietrich,Etc.), all the information I have is from his death record from Miami county,Ohio. He died in 1873 and it states he was born in 1809 in Lancaster County,Pa. I am assuming the family was Methodist, since I found him buried in a Methodist Church cemetery. I know he was in Greene County,Ohio in 1836. He married Mary Ann Young in 1836 there. Their first son My ggrandfather was born in 1837 in Montgomery county,Ohio. the rest of his children's death records say they were born in Miami county,Ohio. His children are : Benjamin,George,John, Mary Margaret(Eliza),Amanda, Samuel, and Harriet,died very young. They were in Miami county census in 1860 and 1870, but can't find them before that time. Amanda marries an Abbott, can't find a marriage record,but in 1917 she was listed in her aunt Mary's will as being an Abbott and living in Pa. If anyone has any ideas,I'd appreciate the help.
