    3. You are correct about the admissions policy. It takes more than Bible records to prove your lineage in DAR. I am a member in Oklahoma. I am in the process of confirming what I found in the DAR papers on the Patriot James Mitchell. The patriot that I joined DAR on is Henry Hateville Fall from New York. My aunt did the work on his line back in the 1960's and she used Bible records. It definitely is tougher to get a lineage proved. Thank you for your participation in this discussion! DAR has been around for a long time. I understand that they aren't necessarily accepting people now based on other relatives admission to the society because they're more discriminating on the required proofs.
