    3. Thank you , Donna, I believe we were in "contact" many yea,s ago? I have forgotten though what the reason was? I have wanted to "visit" your group for many year,s but it just does not happen. And Now, being 80 year,s old I do not get around as I once did. Just off hand I can think of one, maybe 2 surname,s of INTEREST to me, namely that of HARTUNG/HARTING etc. and I believe my LANDIS relatives from Juniata Co, "dipped into" your area. The late Noah Zimmerman was related to me via the Landis line (and here is another surname) and the ACKER,s. I have often wondered IF the Perry County courthouse just might hold some clue that Noah may have missed. regarding OUR Landis family that originally moved from Montg. Co., PA to Juniata Co., PA? We have never been able to "go back" further on Abraham and Maria Huber Landis who were m'd. in 1818 in Montg. co., PA., and are buried in the "Brick Mennonite Church Cemetery, near Richfield. My over all research center,s around the very early Penna. German,s who settled in the N.E. corner of Lancaster County and nearby counties here in PA. (Approx. 50 non Mennonite surname,s) for over 35 year,s. Have I met you at one of the Lanc. Menno. Hist. Soc. Genealogical Conference,s. I know "you" had a represntive there. D.
