    1. WEAVER Family Photograph
    2. Shelley Cardiel
    3. I've "rescued" an old photograph of Ross & Mary WEAVER which was taken at the Rote Studio in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1870's or 1880's with the two children appearing to be about 4 - 7 years old at the time. Based on limited research I believe that this may be a photograph of Ross Kreider WEAVER b. after 1878 and his sister Mary WEAVER, children of Jacob G. WEAVER and Lizzie SHULTZ. I believe that this may be the same WEAVER Family who was living in Strasburg, PA during the 1880 census with records providing the following information: Elam WEAVER, age 39, born in PA, a Farmer, parents born in PA Elizabeth WEAVER, wife, age 29, born in PA, Keeping House, parents born in Germany/PA Jennie WEAVER, dau, age 9, born in PA Ida WEAVER, dau, age 6, born in PA John WEAVER, son, age 5, born in PA Harry WEAVER, son, age 4, born in PA Mary WEAVER, dau, age 2, born in PA Ross WEAVER, son, age 1, born in PA Hiram HAMMON, other, age 21 In the 1910 census of Strasburg, PA I find evidence of Ross E. WEAVER with records providing the following information: Ross E. WEAVER, age 31, married 9 years, born in PA, parents born in PA, a Blacksmith Bertha M. WEAVER, wife, age 27, married 9 years, born in PA, parents born in PA In the 1920 census of West Earl, PA I was able to find record of Ross and Mary's Mother, info is as follows: Weaver ZIMMERMAN, age 25, born in PA, parents born in PA, a Farmer Lizzie ZIMMERMAN, wife, age 22, born in PA, parents born in PA Lydia ZIMMERMAN, dau, age 1 year + 3 months, born in PA Moses ZIMMERMAN, son, age 6 months, born in PA Elizabeth WEAVER, Grandmother, age 69, born in PA, parents born in PA Anna C. MARTIN, servant, age 13, born in PA, parents born in PA In addition to this photograph I also recovered photographs belonging to the BURKHOLDER, KREIDER, STOUTZENBERGER, DECKER, MCCLEARY, and ECKMAN Families from the same source. I've no idea how they may all be connected, however, the handwritten notations on all the photographs were made by the same person so I'm certain there is some connection. I'm hoping to locate someone from this WEAVER Family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to its rightful place with family. If you are a member of this family, or know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley
