Revolutionary War veterans and descendants in pension reguest for old John Platt, Elizabeth Bard Luther stated she knew him in York as a REV Soldier. this has led many of us to wonder if she was from York. Got this from a lady who is researching the Luthers. Just wonder if anyone can help his name was John Platt the lady is Elizabeth Bard/Barth,she married Conrad Luther,Luther Bernhard Marianus. Conrad is my gggg grandfather.Conrad Luther is listed as a Hesse-Cassel soldier,but he did not specify a regimental unit.Conrad wastransported to America by the British AS A Hessian mercenary sometime between 1776 and 1778. any help wouldd be appreicated thanks john Bauman
