I am still having a difficult time finding anything on my William Ferguson of Lancaster Co,. The Morton Montgomery book refers to him as a surveyor and teacher. He immigrated (I assume) about 1800. He married in NJ in 1803. He was dead by 1850 Is it possible that there are Tax records for a William Ferguson in this area. I think that he may be related to the Coltrain Fergusons if only because Williams son John Ferguson lives next door to them.
