These are the things I know about her: Barbara was born 22 Jul 1818, W. Donegal twp, Lancaster Pennsylvania, died 10 May 1900 in E. Donegal twp, Lancaster co, PA, buried in Good's Mennonite Cemetery in Lancaster co. She was married to Jacob Sides son of George & Susanna Eckman Sides (spelled Seitz in the really early records). Her death records states she died of apoplexy. She was the mother of Samuel b. Nov 1841, John b 7 Jan 1844, Lydia S. b 22 Aug 1844, Elizabeth 1845, Sarah b 7 Oct 1847, Mary b. Jan 1850, and Benjamin b. 1860. (And yes, I know the second & third children were born awfully close together, but those are the dates that keep popping up for them. I am descended from John.) I was told that Barbara may have been a Shenk. Does anybody know anything about her and her birth family? Would also be interested in sharing more information on any of the kids. Karen
