Its going to be tough finding someone who was only here for a few years. The Lancaster City Directory of 1845 would be too early and the one for 1857 would be too late, there were no others. They missed the census. You might find something in tax records but its a stretch. I surmise that he may have had someone help pay passage over and lived in Lancaster County to settle up. I have done some preliminary looking at the Family History Library and don't believe he owned any property while he was in PA.
