George Boley/ Bolich/ Poli/ Poley/ Polich b. 12 Oct 1784 Forrest, Berks Co, PA md. 30 Mar 1820 to Catharine Mehring/ Mohring @ Mill Creek, Lancaster Co, PA d. July 1861 Salisbury Twp, Lancaster Co, PA Lived most of his life in Hermitage, the cluster of homes near the Pequea Presbyterian Church in Salisbury Twp. His first wife died about 1837 and he remarried to Susanna (ca. 1798- ca. 1877?) Does anyone know her maiden name? His Lancaster county will found in book X vol. 1 p. 261, states that he is survived by four children: Henry; Catherine, wife of Peter Weiler; Susanna, wife of John Siverd/ Sifert; and John. (I have no further information on the son, John, but do have some info. on the others). Additional information on George Boley's siblings can be found in the Lancaster estate records for his brother, Philip Boley, who died without any surviving children. Many of his siblings' baptisms were recorded by the Rev. F. T. Illing. George Boley was the son of John Peter (1759-1804) & Catharine Bolich. His twelve siblings include: Christiana (md. James Coulter); John (whose children migrated to Ohio and Indiana); Peter (moved to Ohio); Judith/ Julia (md. ____ Ramsport); Jacob (moved to Ohio); Anna Catharine (md. Elijah Hudson & lived in Ohio); Valentine (lived in Ohio); Henry (became a Mormon and moved to Utah); Maria/ Mary (md. John Kurtz & lived in Salisbury Twp., Lancaster Co.); Elizabeth (md. George ?Casslum?); Philip (lived in Lancaster Co.); & David (lived in Ohio).
