Hi Tim, I checked the Stacy Wood article on the Eberman's in the Journal of the Lancaster County Historical Society (Vol. 91 #3), "A John Eberman Legacy: Eight Lancaster, Pa. Clockmakers" and he shows Gotlieb's death in Lancaster, not Lititz. He cites as his source as the Lancaster Moravian Church Burial book, page 445. This suggests he was buried at the Moravian cemetery in Lancaster. There was a seperate register for Lititz. What caught my attention was the claim that he was buried at a Mennonite Cemetery in Lititz, are there any Mennonite cemeteries in Lititz, I doubt it. Its common for people not familiar with these religious groups to confuse the two sects. Jim Tim Robinson <trobinson42@comcast.net> wrote: Jim, Do this for me, as I found this Googling.......... Go to Google, and in the "search window", print in... gottlieb eberman clockmaker lancaster co pa ... and pick the 1st entry on the page.......it shows someone's family tree with GOTTLIEB included. I didn't see an e-mail address. Thanks Jim, Just goes to show that you have to "prove" any documents that show up on the Web, such as whomevers family tree that was listed.
