Dianna, I descend from Michael's sister, Catharine, who m. Jacob Eichholtz. I have collected quite a bit of information on the Lanc Co Brenners, although it certainly isn't exhaustive. I have 2 sources which give his date of birth as 1 Aug 1782, with a baptism date of 8 Sep 1782 at the Maytown Lutheran Church. (1) Lanc Co Church Recs of the 18th Century, Vol 1; by F. Edward Wright, and (2) Christ Lutheran Church, Elizabethtown, 1770-1922. In May 1803 he was listed as a Communicant (single male) at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Maytown, along with his parents. I have not found any other published church records related to Michael or his children. He may have married into a Mennonite family, which would explain the lack of bapt. recs for his children and his burial at Kraybill. The rest of what I have on Michael matches what others have already provided (except for his date of birth). His land and probate records may be your best bet for finding out more about him.
