I would like to thank Tim Robinson, Jim Stokes, Jan Frank and Dan Weinhold for their responses to my question regarding the burial place of Gottlieb EBERMAN. Some of the initial responses indicated that Gottlieb was buried in the Mennonite Cemetery in Lititz......this inspite of the fact that the EBERMAN family was Moravian. Later responses suggested that Gottlieb was buried in the Moravian Cemetery in Lancaster referencing the Moravian Church Burial Book........which was referenced on numerous occasions by Stacy Wood in his writings. I guess I am still a little confused. Was Gottlieb, a Moravian, buried in a Mennonite Cemetery in the Lititz area or was he buried in the Moravian Cemetery (Lancaster Moravian Graveyard) in Lancaster? The latter seems more logical, but I am not sure. And, if he was buried in the Lancaster Moravian Graveyard (corner of West Orange and Market Streets) were his remains moved to the Greenwood Cemetery when the Lancaster Moravian Graveyard was removed in 1916/1917? Based on what I have been able to find out to date transcriptions were not recorded before the destruction of the Moravian Graveyard, but apparently William F. Worner reconstructed who was buried there through "Plan of Burying Ground, 1836"; Moravian Archives, Bethleham; and the Lancaster Moravian Church's Burial Book........all of which I do not have available to me here in North Carolina. Any additional help in reaching a final determination would be greatly appreciated and I thank you in advance. Dave Herr
