In two diffent will abstracts for my family I have found additonal information in the orginal will than was in the abstract. One will listed a son living in New York that was not mentioned in the abstract. Dortha Dortha- I'll add a big amen to that! I searched for years for the parents of my Henry LEIB of York County, PA. I'd seen the Lancaster County will abstracts--in fact I have a copy of the book. There was an Ulrich LEIB in Lancaster County and the will abstract for him mentioned his sons and my Henry was not listed among them in the abstract....not at ALL. Then I sent for Ulrich's will and imagine my surprise when Henry was listed in the will as being Ulrich's oldest son but not listed among the beneficiaries of Ulrich's wll (and not picked up in the abstract) because (the will stated) he had already been given land in York County by Ulrich when he married and this was HIS share of the inheritance.
