For the last fourty years of his life he resided in Manheim borough, and was resepcted by his neighbors as a good citizen and upright man. RUDY.-On the 21st inst., Mr. John RUDY, of West Earl twp., Lancaster county, in the 88th year of his age. The deceased served a tour in the revolutionary war, as a soldier, against foreign oppression, at a time when it tried true American blood. Through his whole life, he was sober, industrious and beloved. His loss will long be a lesson to modern pretensions, and our county never be in want of Patriots. GILL, of this city, aged 20 years 8 months and 20 days. BULL.-At his residence in Churchtown, Lancaster County, on Tuesday, the 18th inst., Levi G. BULL, in the 23d year of his age. The deceased, on the Sunday preceding his death, was returning with a friend from church, in a curricle and when within a short distance of his dwelling some accident occurred, and the horse commenced kicking, and struck him upon the lower jaw, fracturing it in two places. He lingered until Tuesday, when inflammation of the brain took place, occasioning death. Mr. BULL was a remarkably promising young man, just entering upon the cares and duties of life, and his untimely death has brought the most poignant anguish to relatives and the nearest and dearest in life, and spread sorrow among a large circle of friends.
