Shirley....thanks so much for letting us know about the free access. I found about a ton of info on one branch of the family tree that was almost bare! I stayed on the computer all night...literally! The birds were chirping and I was still finding leads that I was sure didn't exist. Today I pulled out a stack of books to retrace some old lines. Thanks again for being so kind and helpful! Jean
good, so then it was worthwhile to order the films and glad you found something. it is very disappointing to have to order something and then find nothing.... Genealogy Rocks. Have a good one... Let me know if you need any more help. regards Joe Wolfe

You are correct. The email does not go to the web, but actually goes to Doris. Please don't quote me on this, I found out the hard way. There is no way to pay for it on line, unless possibly it is hooked into PayPal. Dick.
I may be mistaken, but I think Doris is just trying to sell copies of her CD in a roundabout fashion. Her email address "dmk..." is quite similar to the website where you can just happen to buy the CD - "dmkheritage". ----- Original Message ----- From: <mtmodie@aol.com> To: <PALANCAS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, June 13, 2006 6:35 PM Subject: Re: [PALANCAS] Biographical History of Lancaster Co. on CD > Dear Doris: > I am looking for the name of Brenner. Hello List, I just joined your list a couple of days ago and I'm glad to see it is an active one. My reason for joining is that I have ancestors my 5th Great Grandparents last name Bohrer and Schuster that may have been in Lancaster before 1755. After 1755 they moved to Frederick Co., MD. My Abraham Bohrer married Anna Maria Schuster and I have no date for this marriage, but they had a son John Peter Bohrer born c 1746 and he was possibly born in Lancaster. This same John Peter Bohrer married Mary/Maria Magdelena Schenkmayer/Schenkmeyer and other spellings of course. Mary/Maria Magdelena Schenkmayer maybe the dau or sister of Johannes Schenkmayer and his wife Mary. I know for a fact that Johannes and his family were in Lancaster, PA., as the births and baptisms of some of his children are found in: Pennsylvania German Church Records I, The First Reformed Church, Birth and Baptisms, Page 245 The Pennsylvania-German Society Births and Baptisms 1755 Mary Eliz. Shenkmayer, d. John and Mary Eliza.; b. Feb 9; bap Feb. 16. Pennsylvania German Church Records I, The First Reformed Church, Birth and Baptisms, Page 242 The Pennsylvania-German Society John Schenkmayer, s. John and Mary Eliz.; b Jul16; bap July 23, 1753 Pennsylvania German Church Records I, The First Reformed Church, Birth and Baptisms, Page 245 The Pennsylvania-German Society Births and Baptisms 1762 Susan Shenkmeyer, d. John and Mary Eliz.; b April 8; bap May 16. So could some kind soul please look thru their Lancaster, PA books, etc., and see if they have any other finding for a Bohrer, Schuster, Schenkmayer. The above info is all I have so you won't be doing double work if you find something on any of the above families. I would greatly appreciate any help. Shirley Middleton Moller

Sorry....should have listed Surname in original post. Looking for land information on Nicholas MARRET(H)/MORET/MORRET who married Magdelena EUB in 1737. Thanks to all who responded. I'm relatively new at this and have never done any land research. Your comments and direction are much appreciated. Jeannie
