Yvonne, I don't think I will be able to help you very much, for years I was looking for Maria Bari without any luck. I tried every combination of Bari, Bary Barry Baril with no luck. I had 3 dates birth Dec 1, 1803 Cocalico PA. Married 24 Mar 1827 Brinkerville, PA. d 19 Oct 1841. I knew there were Barr/Bear/Bares in Cocalico. I finally clicked on enough to find a Maria born 1803, that I think is probably who I want. Funny how the dates on Jacob Barr who d 15 Mar 1803 show son John d bef 1803, Maria is listed as b bef 1803? Someone must have consulted Jacobs will to find those dates? Does that sound right to you? I have Lame Jacob Barr b 1778 Strasburg, Lancaster, PA. It seems too big a gap between Lame Jacob and Maria? My connection is Samuel Schmuck b Apr 19 1793 m 1827 Maria Barr? b Dec 1 1803. Where do you live? These Barrs appear to be Mennonites from Zurich, Switzerland. I have never connected with Mennonites although my ancestors seem to be living right next door to them. My family appears to connected with Groves/Graf from Zurich, Switzerland. I am doing DNA testing and have strong connections with them (1 is 66 out of 67 markers 2 is 65 out of 67). Here is the website for Lancaster County Register of Wills - http://www.co.lancaster.pa.us/lanco/cwp/view.asp?a=562&Q=262545 You should be able to get some information from that - there is an email address for contact, too and perhaps they could tell you the cost of copying the Wills......or at least direct you to the proper person. Hi Diana, The only mention I find - but no first name - >From the Lancaster Examiner - Dec 2, 1840 - In Chambersburg on 11th ult, by Rev HOFFMAN, John J. David HUFMAN To: PALANCASTER maillist <[email protected]> Message-ID: <[email protected]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Janie, is there anything for a Rev. David HUFMAN, a Meth/Epis preacher? I have reason to believe he may have come from Lancaster/Berks area around Churchtown. He was pastor in Berks Co at St Paul's Meth/Epic church in Geigertown area. Married a daughter of a Col. WILLIAMS. In a BIO in Berks Co, it state that his parents were from Wales, that they had 3 children, and that he was born in PA. At the ME church cemetery, his dates were 1/7/1769-5/26/1855, and his wife Elizabeth 2/19/1774-8/9/1843. I wondered if any marriages, etc. performed by him prior to his death, or even mention of his death in any of the Lancaster papers near Berks Co? His children married into the CRAMP, IRESON, WHITE, and WALTERS families. Thank you so much if you spot anything. Census for some of the male children were recorded as HUFFMAN and HOFFMAN, but their name is really spelled HUFMAN. I know there was a Welsh area in Berks/Chester/ and Lancaster counties. Thanks ever so much for helping all of us. I have three families that I'll include in three separate emails. The first is Rench/Hamilton. Here's the family to give you some background. Two questions follow: Thomas Henry RENCH b. 7 Mar 1790 in Washington County, Maryland d. 31 Oct 1849 in Franklin County, Indiana m. 1 Oct 1820 Washington County, Maryland to- Jane Hamilton b. 26 Jun 1799 in Pennsylvania d. 11 Dec 1865 in Franklin County, Maryland son, John Henry/H. John RENCH b. 4 Oct 1823 in "Lanchester"/Lancaster County/near Harrisburg County d. 18 Apr 1907 in Calhoun County, Iowa 1. Do you find anything on Jane HAMILTON, who was born in Pennsylvania? Based on the rest of the information, it seems possible she was from Lancaster County PA. 2. Do you find anything on John Henry RENCH, b. 1823? (The birthplace confusion is "received" information.) Thank you, Marilyn

I am looking for Daniel or William Ferer, both born about 1818. I have found they both spelled their names as Ferree, Ferrie and many different ways. Do you have any data on them? Roy - Mississippi
Janie, is there anything for a Rev. Do you find anything else. Thanks again Marilyn
