Dear List, I'm looking for a kind soul to do an obituary lookup for me. It should be fairly quick, as I know the library, the newspaper, and the name and date range. I found an index to this newspaper's obits and know that the person I am looking for is in there, but I am out of state and can't look it up for myself. I am looking for the obituary for David A. Jones. He died sometime between 3-5 March 1886 (his obituary should be sometime after that, but not sure how close to that it is), and an obituary was printed for him in the Scranton Republican Newspaper. Copies of this newspaper are kept at the Scranton Public Library (they won't interlibrary loan it to me--I checked).
