Hello everyone I'm new to the list and I'm wondering if anyone knows if records were kept in Lackawanna County (Scranton, in particular) of those who died in the Spanish Flu Epidemic of 1917-18. Or if anyone knows anything about the epidemic in the city. My grandmother had told me there were "wards" set up in the city to care for the dying and spoke of having to visit her father "in the ward". She never said anything more specific. If anyone can help with info, or just pointing me in the right direction, it would be appreciated!! Thanks!
