Hi Ruth, I am 54 years old and was born in 1951. I just barely remember the amusement park and the beach house. I did spend many a summer at the beach. I was born and grew up in Lake Ariel and have returned to live. The beach and amusement park are both gone. The beach is fenced in and a house has been built where the amusement park was. Not much left of the old Lake Ariel. They still have fireworks and two chicken barbeques along with the fireman's picnic. But that is about it. Take care, Erik Erik A Samson Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania 18436 [email protected] ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, August 27, 2005 1:43 AM Subject: Re: [PA-LAC] Lake Areal (spelling???) > > In a message dated 8/26/2005 6:47:06 A.M.
