Have you tried for a death record ? According to the censes this is what turns up for your surnames in the Scranton area. (Lackawanna & Luzerne Counties). Bailey's = They were in Scranton from 1870 through 1930, also thoughout Luzern from 1790 to 1930. Pfund's = None, but there are Pond's from 1900 through 1930, in Scranton. Grove's = 1900 & 1910, they were in Lackawanna from 1850 through 1930, and in Luzerne from 1790 through 1930. Rettig's = 1920, also in Luzerne during that same time period. Longshaw's = None in Scranton but they were in Luzerne in 1830 and in Lackawanna in 1880.
