George is my husband. I'm the one doing family research. My Loftus is Timothy (listed as Edward on 1900 census) from Olyphant; emigrated around 1890 and settled in Olyphant. He and Catherine/Kate (McAndrew) had an adopted son, James. Hope this helps.
