    3. This is a long shot, but I am going to give a short summary of wills I got from the Lackawanna Co. courthouse that I cannot identify one way or another-- as to whether these Flynns are ancestors. The names are so common that there's not much to go on, but I would enjoy hearing from anyone who has any thoughts about the documents. 11 January 1892, Patrick Flynn leaves everything to his wife, Bridget. The witnesses are Edward F. Boyle and Edward Murphy. On 24 February, 1892, Bridget Flynn, widow and executrix testifies "that the decedent left to survive him a widow and nine children all of age except four who are under age. Bridget signs with an "x". The Register is H. T. Koehler. Everything else on the two pages is legal boilerplate. It looks as though it was drawn up by a lawyer. Next, Scranton PA, March 12, 1915. I Nellie Flynn hereby do bequest to Leo A. Hengler $150 in cash, Anna Bird $25 in cash, and Annie B. Hengler a judgment note of $150 against (vs.) Belle Murphy and Mrs. B. Murphy, and Annie B. Hengler $707.73 in cash. This will maid [sic] the 12 day of March 1915. I also appoint Leo A. Hengler Administrator. Witnesses were Patrick J. Langan and P. J. Ruddy. Nellie Flynn signed her name with a shaky but legible hand. On 18 June 1915, R. H. Dean and John S. Harris submit an appraisal at the request of Leo A. Hengler, the executor. No identifying names or addresses on the appraisal. Anybody know of these Henglers and Murphys?
