Joan, Check the records of the St. Casimir's Church in Lyndwood. The "old" St. Casimir's church in Larksville was torn down due to the ground sinking from the mines and moved across the river to Lynwood. The secretary of the new St. Casimir's in Lyndwood is wonderful and will be glad to look up old church records for you. They go back at least the 1890's when the church was founded by the Rev. Alex Burba. They have burial, baptism, and marriage records. Perhaps someone from Wilkes-Barre could look up the address or phone number for you.
