Hi! Does anybody on the list know if Stafford Street in Lackawanna Township, Minooka may have been changed to Cedar Avenue when the Township was merged with Scranton? The reason I ask is that my father and grandfather (McGrath/McGraw) were raised in the 2600 block of Cedar Ave in Minooka (Scranton). Per family lore, this property was purchased in 1890's. But, there is no 2600 block of Cedar Ave, in the 1900 census and I have found people in the 1900 census with the same name as my ancestors (Lydon) on Stafford Street in Lackawanna Township, Minooka. Unfortunately, I do not know the birthdates of these people so I have no other way to confirm they are indeed my ancestors. Thanks in advance for any feedback on this.
