I would like to try and get to W-B to look at the Luzerne Courthouse for John Harris' death cert. I hope that in the wake of the tragedy, they still kept the records. I was hoping that his parents may have been listed. I also have been subscribing to the Glamorgan list. Until I know his parents names, I cannot make a match. Iva, Mary Harris his widow remarried in Scranton about 1879 to a John Morgan. I have looked at the marriage records in Lack Co, but no go. The records for Lack Co start at 1885, but the county was formed from Luzerne in 1878. Where can I find those missing years? Mary and John Harris als had a child after his death. Margaret Harris was born in Scranton Jan 1870. I may be able to get the birth cert from Luzerne. Any suggestions?? and Thanks again!
