    3. Glen, I think you have a good chance of obtaining his full service record. The records destroyed in the fire were Army and Air Force - the Marines are part of the Navy. Go to the below web site and you will find instructions on how to apply for his records. I think you will find you have to download, or request, a form which you will send to St. Louis, Missouri.
