I've wondered about voting records, too, as well as miscellaneous records such as business/professional licenses, nongovernmental organizations of various kinds, lots of different kinds of things that citizens might have registered for or been certified to do, etc. Does anybody know in detail what all is held by the courthouse aside from the expected wills, deeds and so on? I understand there is a survey of Lackawanna Co. records--unpublished, but on microfilm--LDS or State Archives or Library: has anybody looked at this? Anybody know about such stuff? The survey I refer to was done in the 1930's; a WPA project, I think. If this doesn't ring a bell, I will find the reference and give it to the list. Thanks, Anne
