Selecting those John Burkes who would file between 1853 and 1877 narrows the search field to 8 hits. I'll look at the films and do my best to select the "right" John Burke. Hopefully one lived in Minooka. I'll get back to you with my findings. Wish us luck. Only 3 Michael J. Walsh in the naturalization database. One came through Canada. I'll check those films this week, also and get back to you. I'm sorry the database is not searchable on-line. We are inputting >4,000 new entries each week and lack the manpower to keep updating the data to make it mass searchable. Maybe some day... In the mean time we do not mind searching the master computer. It only takes seconds..many of the early transcribers butchered many of the surnames. Hope we have helped. Enjoy the search. Joe Bryer
