I'm searching for information on my Great Great Grandparents, Reese T. and Mary Evans. Reese T was born in Cardiff, Wales in 1824, his wife Mary was born in Cardiff in 1823. Reese and Mary immgrated to Scranton sometime before 1854. They had 7 children; Stephen b. 1854, David, Thomas, Elizabeth b. 1859 (married John Bradley), George, Catherine b. 1863, and Miriam b. 1866 d. 1888. Reese's second wife was Bessie Pedrick. Reese was a mine boss at the Diamond mine in Hyde Park. He also was the Treasurer of Scranton in 1878. I am looking for the names of Reese T and Mary Evans parents. I do not know Mary's maiden name. I would appreciate any information on this family. I have not been able to find much of anything. Thanks!
