    2. Do you have a Felix O'Hara who came to Scranton area in 1848 from County Mayo, Ireland. He was born in late 1790s. He had a son named Felix, born around 1826. Felix O'Hara, born in 1790s was my great great great grandfather. My great grandfather, Joseph Jordan (his grandson) was born in 1846 in County Mayo and came to Scranton in the 1860s. However, in 1870s he went to Ireland and died there in 1893. Anything sound familiar? Bill McDonnell Mount Laurel, NJ

Bill, In GRSNP's Lackawanna County Naturalization database, I see: Felix O'Hara filed papers 1855 I don't see Joseph Jordan, but there is a Joseph Jordain, from Ireland who filed his naturalization papers, 1873. Hope this helps. Enjoy Joe Bryer   Check out our Research Center (Library to most folks).
