My grandfather has never showed up in the SSDI. I've heard that I stll may be able to access SS records on him if he applied but his death was never recorded because they did not apply for benefits. One of the sources cited for finding his SS# is Voters Registration Records. Has anyone researched Voters Registration Records? I've never seen a source for them. Are they held by the county? Or the township? My grandfather would have been in Lackawanna (Scranton) or Luzerne (Wilkes-Barre). Are the records open to the public, or do we have to write to some governmental agency? Any help would be appreciated. Bill Healey
