Hi to Everyone, I haven't been around lately, and hope you all don't mind my butting in on the cemetery thing. I had offered awhile ago to transcribe Calvary cemetery if anyone had a list. For Joe Bryer ,or PALACKAW.If you should need Typists assistance let me know I would be glad to assist. Apparently My Great Grandfather was buried at Calvary or (Calvary) without a headstone or Was using another Name his whole life! My Great Aunt and father state Calvary is where James Meehan is buried. Should anyone stumble across him would you please let me know.(about 1900-1930) Living in Mayfield his whole life.I have no vitals so I cannot proceed.I would appreciate it. Have you all checked with the local DAR chapter ? In NY State in the 1930's the local DAR chapters did an inventory of each cemetery in their chapters area .Perhaps they did this in PA as well? Of course they were actually locating Revolutionary War Soldiers so they could honor these graves with the appropriate Marker. Perhaps local Veterans Organizations have a listing as well for Memorials? Fire Departments? Police Departments ? Masons ? As a side note for those of you interested in Architecture a wonderful web site is HABS/HAYER at the National Parks Service.
