At home, I have some information from the State of Pennsylvania about searching the death records for an extended period of time; I think that the time period is up to five years. It costs more, of course, but you may be able to come up with the actual date of death that way. When I get home, I will search out the information and E-mail it to you. I should be home on Thursday of this week and I am going away again on Sunday, but in those few days, I will get the information to you. Also, I will find out about sending for birth certificates in the State of Pa. If you can get those, the names of the child's parents should be included and that would tell you if it is the right Evan or the right Sarah Jones. I know there are forms that you have to fill out and the certificate costs $4.00; I think there is a way to download the form from the internet...I will find out how.
