I think the idea for tombstone transciption at Washburn and Cathedral Cemeteries is a great idea. I wish I were closer to lend a hand. I also agree with Anne, that unless the project is properly organized, it may be an inefficient effort. A plot map of each cemetery with sections being assigned to people might be a place to start. I know that several of our local Texas genealogical societies have undertaken such projects with great success, although many have not been put online, which is where the real help lies.
