Hi Mary--that James Flynn obit certainly caught my eye, too. Don't know that there's a connection since, according to my data from you, I have gggm Jane Flynn's stepson John with a DOD of July 19, 1892 (he's the one who died unexpectedly while visiting in Ireland). Then I have James Flynn, d. Dec. 27, 1901, a son of Jane's, and the older brother of Enos Flynn. So I cannot place this James Flynn, but there were, I believe seven of them (old enough to be listed in the city dir. or census--I forget which) in Scranton around 1890-1900, so confusion is inevitable. I guess it's helpful to know who he isn't, even if we don't know who he is! I'll be interested in any followup that helps clarify. Anne
