Hi Sharon, Don't know if you have this but, here is one that I found in the NY paper. Times Union, The (Albany, NY) - January 20, 1994 Deceased Name: LORETTA D. HIGGINS Loretta D. Higgins of Comely Lane, Latham, died Wednesday in Albany Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Miss Higgins was born and educated in Scranton, Pa. She was a graduate of St. Cecelia's High School in Scranton. She had lived in Scranton prior to moving to Latham a little over two years ago. She was a supervisor at Bell Atlantic Telephone Co. in Scranton for more than 35 years before retiring in 1962. Miss Higgins was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Latham. Survivors include a nephew, Lawrence A. Fitzgibbon of Latham, and two nieces, Mary Claire Fitzgibbon of Latham and Joanee Higgins Gardner. Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham, and at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 498 Watervliet Shaker Road, Latham.
