Rita, There was a dairy in South Abington, Luzerne Co. PA purchased by Emory & Catherine (Hudson) Stone in 1863. By 1870 South Abington became what is now Lackawanna Co. I don't know how long the dairy existed but possibly long after Emory died in 1908. He had at least 3 sons who remained in the area.
