To my fellow researchers, I have a favor to ask from those of you who do a lot of newspaper research. I am writing a book about my great grandparents James and Margaret Morrell Thorpe. It's really a work of fiction, but based entirely on the facts I know about their lives. While I am inventing the dialogue of their love story, I'd like to keep the novel as historically acurate as I can. What I am looking for are newspaper advertisements for hats, women's clothing, household items, etc. Anything that might have been used by a family during the 1899 to 1902 time frame. If prices are mentioned--all the more valuable. If local establishments are mentioned, that's useful too.
