I have been chasing the name 'Butcher'; one of my ancestors, Bridget Gallagher (I think) married a David Butcher, in the late 1800's , and died in childbirth, and the oral tradition is the baby's name was David. Most of her siblings settled in Allentown area, and Luzerne Co. Some even went to Wisconsin. All were from Co. Donegal. What do you think?
