I am searching for my Grandparents: Alice Barrett Comenita/Carminita it was spelled many ways. She was from Jermyn Pa parents unk. She was born abt 1895. I found the family on the 1920 census in NYC Brooklyn with her husband Tom Comenita from Italy born abt 1886, children: Rose age 5, John 3, Helen age 1. After Tom died in Feb. 1920 she came to the St. Joe. Foundling Home in Dunmore before the birth of my father Thomas May 23, 1920, her 3 yr old and 1 yr old died at the home during her stay. They are buried at the Catherial Cem. My Grandmother left with Rose and my father abt early July to live with a relative in Hyde Park . Then my father was given up for adoption. unk what happen to my Grandmother and Rose. Please any info.or help would be great. Thanks Sandy
