Hello Sheri, Not sure if anyone responded to you about obituaries. When I was looking for obituaries, I used a service that was offered by the library in Scranton- The Albright Memorial Library. They have something called interlibrary loan. In looking at it today, it seems they have changed the service only for Pennsylvania residents. This is disappointing to me because I live in New Jersey. This service is still available from the PA State Library in Harrisburg, their web address is http://www.statelibrary.state.pa.us/libraries/site/default.asp , so you can still get what you are looking for. Use the catalog search feature, select the guided search tab, enter the word "newspapers" and the location (city or county) to get a list of what years and titles are available. Hay Richard, Can I do the interlibrary loan & have them print me an obituary? My Library won't order the film I need. Said microfilm is too expensive to replace.
